A. Before you can understand how our Instantan™ system works, you must understand how the sun works. When you expose yourself to the sun, you are exposing yourself to ultra violet B (UVB) and ultra violet A (UVA) rays
UVB is the midrange ray of the sun. It is the most intense and harmful ray. Overexposure to UVB causes sunburn, dryness, peeling and premature aging of the skin.
Doctors feel that too much exposure to UVB can cause skin cancer, especially in people with light complexions.
UVA is the low range and mildest ray of the sun. UVA stimulates a brown pigment in your skin known as melanin, which rises to the surface of your skin, and the result is a suntan. The only problem is, when you lay in the sun, you cannot get the good rays (UVA) without getting the bad rays (UVB)
